XL Hot Head™ microwavable deep conditioning heat cap.
This extra-large Hot Head is roomier than the original, making it perfect for extra thick/long hair, dreadlocks, and those who have outgrown their current Hot Head. Starting circumference, approximately 21" | Max circumference (fully stretched), approximately 44” | Diameter, approximately 22”
ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
Hot Head™ dramatically improves the results of your favorite deep conditioner, hair masque, oil, or other hair treatment. Without heat, your treatment can only do so much to improve the quality of your hair. Typically, the cuticle is closed, so the treatment is only able to work on the surface of the hair shaft. The results are minimal and superficial when compared to heat enhanced deep conditioning treatments. Hot Head enables the hair cuticle to open for an extended period, allowing the treatment to penetrate the hair shaft, nourishing it from the inside out.
Shower caps are essential when using Hot Head! Save yourself a trip to the beauty supply store and add on a 10-pack of disposable shower caps.
While you're at it, why not enhance your treatment with one of our scented spritzers?
My hair has never been so moisturized! This Thermal Cap gave me the best definition I've ever had!
It normally takes me 3 hours to retain moisture in my low porosity hair no matter what I use, this cut my finger coiling down to 1½ hrs!
Best thing ever! Felicia on May 28th 2020
Bought the XL so I can keep my hair clips in while I deep condition. Fits perfect. Best investment ever. Unknown on May 28th 2020
The size of the hot head cap (XL) adequately fit over my natural 4C medium size afro. Heating it in the microwave was very easy. Instructions were included in the packaging. I also purchased 10 disposable shower caps, that I used to cover my deep conditioned fro before adding the hot head cap. It stayed warm for about 30 minutes- plenty of time for my deep conditioner to do its work. And the hot head cap is easier to store than a bulky hooded hair dryer, and works just as well. Shipping was fast. No bulking packaging. Im very happy with my order. I highly recommend and will definitely purchase from Thermal Hair Care again. Ngea on May 7th 2020
They should let us know that you don't need to buy XL unless you hair is long and thick ... Nicky on Apr 21st 2020
I used it today for the first time and I just love it. It stays hot for quite some time. Love the freedom of being able to move around and do whatever you need to do while you’re deep conditioning your hair. Would definitely recommend this product Linda Young on Mar 13th 2020
I purchased the Chick XL Hot Head on a whim and am so glad I did! The shipment arrived very quickly and the instructions were simple enough. I was able to deep condition my hair without being tied down by a cord. Des on Mar 9th 2020
Rarely do I post reviews. Ok, I have a big head because there's no way the XL would fit me with rollers or flex rods. That was not the main reason for this purchase. I'm not sure what type of hair I have, maybe 4C dry and coilly. This cap... This cap is amazing. After the first use, my hair is so soft and hydrated. I am by no means a hair guru. I do know when a product works and I AM IN LOVE! A weekly affair has begun. Hair Happy on Feb 11th 2020
I have had a hothead for over 2 years and I had to come back for not 1 but 3 more. I got myself another one and one for my daughters. It's the only thing I've used to deep condition and will remain the only thing I use. It's like once you try it you won't want to use anything else. I am so pleased and content. Money well spent. Thank you for such a great product. Wendy on Nov 27th 2019
I cannot stop raving about my Chic XL Hot Head Cap. No more confining cords, toasted ears, and dry eyes from sitting under the hooded blow dryer. Even more awesome is combining it with the spritzer for a spa-like treat. AND to top if off it's easy to pack! Its a hair treat you cant beat! LJ Franklin on Nov 11th 2019
Great product. The XL is perfect for long or thick hair. Shipped quickly too. Unknown on Jul 11th 2019
