Amazing purchase!
This cap works great and stays warm for several minutes! I did my first masque with it on and my hair had no frizz afterward, which is rare for me.
I went with the XL because I have a lot of hair and I’m glad I did. It’s roomy, but when my hair is clipped up it still fits.
I will say it’s a bit heavier than I anticipated, which could be an issue for some users.

Fit all my locs!
I have been “loc’d” for 10 years and I was worried about this cap being able to fit over all of my hair. I’m glad to say it did no problem! Love the freedom and style!
This is my second Hot Head after buying one for all the women and little girls in my life years ago for Christmas. Of course everyone loved it! I have since out grown my first one. So this time around, I purchased the XL this time. I love the freedom of walking around and doing other things un tethered. As for my hair, this is the healthiest longest my 4c hair has been in my life! Really helped in getting Conditioner to penetrate deeply Into the hair. I gave it 4 stars because you really have to follow the directions exactly. My first hot head was slightly scorch for heating it too long. JW on Apr 20th 2020

Simple but highly useful heat cap that lets you cut the cord.
I have been natural for over 2 years and let me tell you the struggle is real. Not only being natural but finding products that are made without harsh chemicals as well as the accessories to live a natural curly girl/person life with minimum hassle. I saw a video on YouTube for the ThermalCare Hot Heads cap and could not buy one fast enough. I followed the simple instructions to heat it in the microwave and voíla! The Hot Head went to work and for the first time in years I was free of the cords that tied me to my hair dryer. Free to do other things with my hands and most of all so happy to have found a truly useful accessory to help me manage my hair routine. My only misstep is I purchased an XL when the smaller size would have hugged my head better. Does what it says it will do!
I have only used the hot head twice since receiving. I am pleased so far with the outcome. It will last about 20-25 minutes before reheating. I'm happy I'm able to do other things without needing to sit under a hooded dryer. This saves me lots of time and decreases the damage most hooded dryers cause. Thanks Hothead!
